Upload On Tour is kicking off this September with STUDIO MURENA + 3 selected Upload artists, live at CANTIERE 26 in Arco (TN).
Pioneers of a sharp, jazz-infused, electronic sound with rap at its core, Studio Murena formed in Milan in 2018. Praised by Italian press and featured in Spotify’s global Jazz Rap playlists, the band has played top festivals like MI AMI, Locus, and Ortigia Sound Festival, and opened for acts like BADBADNOTGOOD and Battles. Their 2023 album WadiruM (Virgin Music), featuring Paolo Fresu, Ghemon, and Laila Al Habash, was named one of the year’s best by Rolling Stone and Rockit, with Rumore calling them “the future of Italian music.” In 2025, Studio Murena signed with Island Records and will release Notturno on May 9, led by the single “Jazzhighlanders.”
