Phill Reynolds, born Silva Cantele, is a modern folk one man band. Since 2011 he toured all around Europe and the US, singing about love and despair, rage and hope, shades and lights on the wings of a sharp fingerstyle technique. In over 400 concerts, he got to share the stage with Eric Andersen, Sigur Ros, Timber Timbre, John García, Blonde Redhead, Daniel Norgren, Scott Kelly, Micah P Hinson and more.
In 2021 he released his latest and most acclaimed album to date, “A Sudden Nowhere”, that received praised from italian and international music outlets such as Americana UK, American Songwriter, Louderthanwar, Rockit.it, Rumore and many others.
His rendition of June Carter’s classic “Ring of Fire”, premiered on italian television show X-Factor Italia, is minimal, dark and pulsating, as if Johnny Cash were fronting Radiohead.
