Come see computing come alive!
A lot of mini-experiments coupled with some theory will teach you how to build small systems that can interact with the world.
Pt. 1 - Sensors and actuators
In this first part of the course we will deal with the key elements of a robotic system and of microcontroller-based devices.
After attending this course participants will possess basic notions of:
— Common robotics sensors and actuators
— Microcontroller systems and interfacing
Pt. 2 - Vision, signals, controls
In this second part of the course we will deal with vision, signals, and controls.
After attending this course participants will possess basic notions of:
— Computer vision
— Robot controls and kinematics
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of the C/C++ languages.
It may be helpful to have a pre-existing familiarity with basic analog and digital electronics, as well as with the MatLab and Arduino environments, but it is not required.
Registration:
Limited places (20) – register a soon as possible!
By 21 January 2019, send an e-mail to
computer.science@unibz.it including:
(1) a presentation of yourself
(2) the detail of your skills in computer science
(3) your motivation for attending the course
